Joint Park & Recreation Board

The Pewaukee Joint Park & Recreation Board is responsible for assisting the Park and Recreation Director with the annual budget and with establishing and implementing operational policies within the joint parks & recreation department. Conduct applicant reviews and interviews respecting hiring of parks & recreation staff and make recommendations to the City Common Council and Village Board for the respective approvals. They recommend to the City Common Council and Village Board on park related matters such as land acquisition or building projects. They hear and determine appeals in regards to cost of services and general citizen complaints. They review and approve matters of department policy, initiate the creation, amendment, or rescinding of any such policy as a recommendation to the City Common Council and/or Village Board.

The Joint Park & Recreation Board meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the City of Pewaukee
